Enjoy Hackley Library resources from home

Even though HPL is temporarily closed, staff  members are working  from home, preparing plans for when it reopens, and offering many online services.

Visit hackleylibrary.org and the Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/HackleyPL/ see what you can discover.

With a library card, access Digital Resources, such as Hoopla, OverDrive/Libby app and RBdigital. Browse thousands of titles, including eBooks, audiobooks, movies, and music, all for free. These can be enjoyed on several platforms, including smartphone, tablet, computer and TV.

Take a peek at the ‘fun & games,’ teen resources, links and virtual programs. There is even a ‘Mini’ Spring Library Challenge to enjoy. At 6 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, the library will post “HPL Storytimes” to watch right from home.

Every Wednesday at 2 p.m. the library will post ‘Left to Write’ prompts, where particpants can embrace creative writing. Once the library reopens, particpants can come together and share the things they’ve written.

The Summer Reading program will use an online program, Beanstack, where participants can register online, and track their reading progress from home. Watch for more details in coming weeks.
