Lisa Stadig Elliot, the executive director for the Oakland County Bar Association, was honored as the 2010 Family Law “Champion for Justice” award recipient at a luncheon hosted by Common Ground Legal Services and the Family Law Assistance Project on Friday, Oct. 8, at Cooley Law School’s Auburn Hills campus.
Troy attorney Donald McGinnis noted that this is the second year the award was given. Last year’s recipients were Judges Young and Pezzetti who were honored to present the award to Elliot this year.
