The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) partnered with the Family Law Assistance Project (FLAP) and Legal Aid and Defender Association Inc. (LAD) to present a Pro Bono Mentor Match Free Training Session on Friday, Jan. 21, at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy.
“Today we are having a free training session for our mentees and mentors to learn about some of the issues not only in poverty law but also to have some specific education on the areas of the cases that we’re going to be matching both mentors and mentees to in family law, landlord/tenant, criminal expungement, and debt collection defense,” Grieco said.
