Bullying and ADR

Oakland Mediation Center’s (OMC) Youth Services Manager Kenzi Bisbing (second from right) presented “Bullying in Schools: How Does ADR Fit?” during the 7th Annual Stanley “Hank” Marx Lecture Series in Dispute Resolution on Thursday, Oct. 20, in Wayne State University Law School’s Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium.

The topic of this year’s lecture series was “Innovating with Alternative Dispute Resolution.”

The WSU Department of Communication, Dispute Resolution Program co-sponsored the event with The Association for Conflict Resolution Michigan Southeast Chapter to celebrate National Conflict Resolution Day.

Also taking part in this year’s lecture were (left to right) Marcia Lee, Susan Butterwick, Sue Marx, Loraleigh Keashly, and OMC Executive Director Bonnie Hanes, president of the Association for Conflict Resolution Michigan, Southeast Chapter.

“Today we’re celebrating Hank Marx who passed from us several years ago.  His family established the Hank Marx Lecture Series so every year we come together as ADR professionals to learn new things that are going on in our field,” Hanes noted.
