Warner, Norcross, &Judd attorneys, staff spread holiday cheer

Attorneys and staff of Warner, Norcross, & Judd LLP across the state are doing their part to spread a little cheer to those in need this holiday season. Children attending the annual holiday party given by Court Appointed Special Advocates of Kent County received nearly 140 toys donated by Warner Norcross attorneys and their families in the Grand Rapids office. For the past decade, Warner attorneys and their children who attend the firm's annual children's Christmas party donate toys to CASA, which advocates for abused and neglected children in child protective proceedings. Warner families set a record with the number of toy donations this year. For the fourth holiday season, Warner attorneys and staff in Lansing filled four barrels with non-perishable food items for the Lansing City Rescue Mission's Holiday Barrel Drive to "Help Pack the Pantry." Lansing attorneys and staff annually work to help meet this mission's goal of providing approximately 112,000 meals to individuals and to fill food boxes for low-income families in the Lansing area. Attorneys and staff in the firm's Southfield office collected and donated food gift cards, canned goods and lots of gently used toys for The Children's Center in Detroit, which helps children and families in Detroit through 20 therapeutic programs and services. This fall, Warner's Southfield office donated hundreds of back-to-school supplies to the Children's Center. Attorneys and staff in the firm's Muskegon office have again adopted a family through Every Woman's Place/Webster House. After shopping for gifts week, several staff plan to wrap and deliver them this week. Published: Tue, Dec 20, 2011
