State Bar leaders discuss 'Pipeline to Power' for women lawyers in Mich.

State Bar of Michigan Executive Director Janet Welch will moderate a panel of SBM's current and former female leadership that will examine "The Pipeline to Power for Women Lawyers in Michigan" at 3:45 p.m. on Friday, April 13, at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit. The panel will also include former SBM President (1986-87) and current University of Michigan Regent Julia Darlow, former SBM President (1996-97) and current U.S. District Court Judge Victoria Roberts, former SBM President (2004-05) and retired Wayne County Prosecutor's Office Trial Division Chief Nancy Diehl, and current SBM President and Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith Shareholder Julie Fershtman. This group will present the closing discussion of Michigan State University College of Law's "Gender and the Legal Profession's Pipeline to Power" symposium, presented April 12-13 in Detroit.
