The Oakland Mediation Center hosted a “Piñatas for Peace Fiesta” on Friday, May 4, at the Troy Marriott to raise funds in order to support its efforts to prevent and reduce bullying and violence.
“Tonight we are raising funds to end bullying in Oakland County schools and we’re honoring those people who have supported Oakland Mediation Center in a very significant way,” said OMC Excutive Director Bonnie Hanes (third from left).
During the event, awards were presented to (left to right) Oakland County Friend of the Court Director Suzanne Hollyer—Innovator Award; Oakland County 46th District Court Administrator Donna Beaudet—Nanci S. Klein Memorial Award; Oakland County Probate Court Judge Elizabeth Pezzetti—Community Hero Award; Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Wendy Potts—Leadership Award; and Rackeline Hoff—20 Year Service Award.
