Students pass July bar exam, local admissions ceremonies planned

 The list of those who passed the July bar exam has been posted by the State Board of Law Examiners and is available on the Board’s website, http://courts.michigan.gov/supremecourt/BdofLawExaminers/index.htm.

 
Local admission ceremonies have been planned and include the following:
 
• The Oakland County admission ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 9, at 11:45 a.m.   The ceremony will be conducted at the Commissioners’ Auditorium at the Oakland County Courthouse, 1200 N. Telegraph Rd. in Pontiac.  Pre-registration is required and forms are available at www.ocba.org.  Questions can be directed to Jan Anson at (248) 334-3400 ext. 209 or janson@ocba.
 
• The Macomb County Bar Association will conduct its new lawyer admission ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m. at the Macomb County Courthouse, 40 N. Main in Mt. Clemens. The ceremony will take place in the 4th floor courtroom of Judge Peter Maceroni. Participants are asked to gather in the area outside the courtroom at 3:30 p.m. Law school graduates who passed the July bar exam and wish to take part in the ceremony should contact the MCBA at 586-468-2940 or visit www.macombbar.org.
 
• For information on the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association/Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan New Lawyer Admission Ceremony, visit www.detroitlawyer.org.
