Authorities charge 6 family members in drug case
SHELBY TOWNSHIP (AP) -- Authorities are charging six family members with distributing so-called synthetic marijuana and other illegal drugs at two southeast Michigan businesses.
The Macomb County prosecutor's office last Friday announced charges against 63-year-old Faize Dabish of Oakland County's West Bloomfield Township, three sons and two grandsons. Authorities say they used a Shelby Township gas station and store in the drug enterprise.
A message seeking comment on their behalf was left Friday morning by The Associated Press at Woodstock Smoke Shop, one of the businesses involved.
The six are expected to appear in District Court in Shelby Township. Authorities say the investigation turned up K2, cocaine, ecstasy, hydrocodone and marijuana.
