The Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan continued it 2012-2013 “Groundbreakers” Breakfast Roundtable Series with “Dealing with Distressed Properties, Part II—The Lawyer’s Guide to Buying Distressed Property” on Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.
Among those taking part in the program were (left to right) Tom Kabel of Butzel Long PC, and program co-chairs Cindy Ortega and Eric Starck of Miller Johnson.
“There are various speakers on various topics who speak for 30 minute sessions and then attendees are allowed to rotate to a different table to a different topic,” Starck said of the program.
“In today’s market, it’s clearly a distressed market. So from a practical perspective we wanted to present that to the section.”
