Judge's journey told to PALS

The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) conducted its first meeting of the new year on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the Polish Village Café in Hamtramck.

The featured speaker was Macomb County Probate Court Judge Carl. J. Marlinga (center).

Happy to present Marlinga to PALS were (left to right) retired Judge Richard Wygonik and Wayne County 20th District Court Chief Judge Mark J. Plawecki.

“I’ve been invited to talk about the route from prosecutor to probate judge which will include my last year as a prosecutor, the intervening years as a defense attorney and as a civil attorney in some significant cases, and then the campaign for the Probate Court judgeship in Macomb County,” Marlinga noted.
