Judges, lawyers compete in Culinary Challenge
The 6th Annual Bench Bar Culinary Challenge will mix fresh air, fresh food and friendly competition between the bench and bar all to benefit charities.
This annual event features a grilling competition between Grilled By the Bench and Grilled By the Hour, as well as competitions in the appetizers and desserts categories, and a large gathering of judges, lawyers and guests. The event is not affiliated with any particular bar association.
The Challenge will take place Wednesday, June 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the home of Nancy Glen and Ralph McDowell in Huntington Woods.
Cost to attend is $50. For additional information, contact Challenge co-chairs Lavinia Biasell, lbiasell@maddinhauser.com, 248-351-7059; or Valerie Newman, valerie@sado.org. The event also has a Facebook page.
