Young lawyers reach out to students

On Friday, June 14, the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section conducted a lunch and panel presentation as part of the College Pre-Law Summer Institute (CPSI) at Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills.

Happy to help with the students were (left to right) Aaron Burrell of Dickinson Wright PLLC, Cooley Career and Professional Development Coordinator Alana Glass, and Jerome Crawford of Dickinson Wright PLLC.

The CPSI is being held at Cooley for the fourth year in partnership with Oakland University and the American Bar Association’s Council of Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO).

It offers underprivileged students from 13 colleges and universities in five states and the country of Lebanon an opportunity to study the critical thinking skills necessary to succeed on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and in law school.
