Governor's mobile office rolls into area Nov. 19

Gov. Rick Snyder's Office of Constituent Services is continuing its mobile office hours to help address questions of Michigan residents and provide assistance with state government. Representatives will visit several communities throughout the state as part of tour. "I encourage residents to come out, share comments or concerns and ask questions about state government," Snyder said. "We are here to help wherever and however we can." Staff will be available to answer questions, provide information and assistance, as well as take suggestions in regard to current government issues affecting Michiganders, communities and businesses. Important topics for discussion include but are not limited to the state budget, the ongoing reinvention of Michigan and opportunities to get involved in state government. Representatives will be on hand to offer assistance with state agency relations and any other state-related matter. No appointment is necessary. The mobile office will be in the area on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from noon to 2 p.m. at Bean & Leaf Café, 106 South Main St. in Royal Oak; and from 3 to 5 p.m. at Sweets, 3395 Auburn Rd. in Auburn Hills.
