Women's Bar to raise funds for scholarship at holiday party, Dec. 12
The Women's Bar Association , Oakland County region of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (WLAM), will host its 31st Annual Holiday Party on Thursday, Dec. 12, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Great Lakes Culinary Center, 24101 West Nine Mile Road in Southfield.
There will be a silent auction to benefit the "Tiane Brown Fund" at Wayne State University Law School, which will go toward support of her children. Brown was the Wayne Law student recently found dead in her car, the apparent victim of a homicide.
Ticket prices for the party are $35 for law students, $45 for WLAM members, $50 for non-members, and $55 at the door. Sponsorships are also available. For additional information, contact Kristin Pursley of the Dobrusin Law Firm PC at kpursley@patentco.com.
