Company donates toys

Southfield-based Computing Source, a full-service legal support firm, announced that it has donated more than 750 toys and a portion of its December revenue to Toys for Tots.  Computing Source CEO and Managing Director Mark St. Peter (right) made the announcement.

The toys were collected at the company’s December 17 holiday party held at the Detroit Athletic Club for hundreds of area professionals. The United States Marines on site collecting the items shared that it was the largest collection of toys they had seen in 2013. In addition to the donated toys, Computing Source isalso contributing a percentage of its December sales to the organization.

“As our firm continues to expand in the Midwest, we are more committed than ever togiving back to the communities in which we live, work and play,” said St. Peter. “At Computing Source, we are all kids at heart, and feel that every child deserves an exciting holiday. Our holiday party was an excellent way to celebrate the season and show our clients our appreciation, while also benefiting a great cause. We felt our monthly revenue contribution would further amplify the impact of the gift.”

The Toys for Tots initiative is part of Computing Source’s monthly giving campaign, in which the company donates a percentage of sales each month to a different local or national charity.
