The Wolverine Bar Association presented a panel discussion on “Alternative Legal Careers” at its Tuesday, March 11, meeting at the Detroit offices of Bodman PLC.

Taking part in the program were (left to right) Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Craig Strong, Wolverine Director Kim Ward, Wolverine Secretary Jehan Crump-Gibson, Wolverine Director Shanta S. W. McMullan, Wolverine President Ronda Tate, Wolverine Director Alex Simpson, panelist Joelynn Stokes, Wolverine Director Jerome Crawford, panelist Lesley Redwine, Wolverine Director Naomi Oglesby, panelist Nancy Newman, Wolverine Director Randal M. Brown, and Wayne County 36th District Court Judge David A. Perkins.

“We have representatives who have started their own recruiting firm,” Tate noted.  “We also have representatives who are even CEO of a charter school.  So there are a myriad of different careers you can take with your law degree especially in today’s challenging legal market.”
