Program on Lawyer Trust Accounts offered Oct. 21 in Lansing

The State Bar of Michigan will present "Lawyer Trust Accounts: Management Principles and Recordkeeping Resources" on Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 1:30 to 4:45 p.m. at the State Bar building in Lansing, 306 Townsend St. This half-day seminar will feature presentations on how to ethically manage lawyer trust accounts, and effectively use forms, checklists and other recordkeeping resources. The seminar, open to lawyers and their staff members, provides an opportunity to learn more about Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 1.15 and 1.15A. Participants will receive practical information as well as materials prepared by the presenters: SBM Professional Standards Division Director Danon Goodrum-Garland, SBM Assistant General Counsel Nkrumah Johnson-Wynn, and Attorney Grievance Commission Senior Associate Counsel Rhonda Pozehl.
