McKeen & Associates delivered carloads of items to the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit in celebration of Injury Board Day of Action. IB Day of Action is a nationwide, collaborative effort to bring together more than a 100 plaintiffs' lawyer firms working the same cause on the same day, Thursday, September 17.

McKeen staff supplied, assembled and delivered Ronald McDonald House with three types of bags that contained either activities for children and their families; snacks; or toiletry items. There were 150 bags in total. The staff also donated and delivered dozens of boxes of cleaning products, linens, paper products and other much-needed supplies.

"As a firm, we are dedicated to giving back to the local community and helping those in need of assistance," says Brian McKeen, managing partner of McKeen & Associates. "When it comes to healing, something as simple spending time with family can make all the difference and Ronald McDonald House enables families with sick children to do just that. We are truly honored to be part of this day of action to help support and improve the well-being of children and families during difficult times."

This is the second annual IB Day of Action. This year is a collaborative effort between IB member firms, the Ronald McDonald House Charities Network of Local Chapters and Children's Hospitals across the nation. Last year, McKeen & Associates donated items to the Veterans' Administration Hospital in Detroit.
