The Lakeshore Bar Association hosted a program on the current state of drone law in Michigan followed by demonstration flights of various drones. The speaker was David R. Baxter (center), a 32 year aviation law specialist and former chair of the Aviation Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. The presentation was followed by questions, discussion and flight demonstrations of various drones at the Tompkins Community Center in Windmill Pointe Park in Grosse Pointe Park on Wednesday, September 23. Among those taking part in the discussion were (left to right) John Parnell of The Parnell Firm PLLC, Elisabeth Gregory of Comerica Bank, Harry Arnold with Detroit Drone, Chris Nesi of Nesi & Associates PC, Marc Jerabek of Plunkett Cooney, and Grosse Pointe Park attorney Vince Romano.
