'Taste of Diversity' hosted by OCBA

The Oakland County Bar Association’s Diversity in the Legal Profession Committee hosted a “Taste of Diversity?Strolling Cocktail Reception”?on Thursday, October 1, at The Bird & the Bread in Birmingham. Many of Michigan’s affinity bar associations partnered with the OCBA to present this special event.  During the evening, the 2015 Leon Hubbard Award was presented to Cheryl A. Bush (second from right) of Bush, Seyferth, &?Paige PLLC; and the 2015 Michael K. Lee Memorial Award was presented to John R. Nussbaumer of Indiana Tech Law School.  Nussbaumer was not able to attend the event but sent a video message.  Among those enjoying the event and honoring the award recipients were (left to right) Oakland County 50th District Court Judge Cynthia Walker, Farmington Hills attorney Raymond A. Correll, and Victoria King, judicial staff attorney for Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Leo Bowman.
