The Oakland County Bar Association’s New Lawyers Committee and the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan will present Novemberfest—A Night to Support Pro Bono Month on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Detroit Zoo’s Ford Education Center, 8450 W. 10 Mile Rd. in Royal Oak.
This networking social event, sponsored by Stout Risius Ross, will raise funds to benefit Lakeshore Legal’s Aid Counsel and Advocacy Law Line (CALL).
CALL is a division of Lakeshore Legal Aid which began operating in 1997. It works in partnership with Legal Services of Northern Michigan, Legal Services of South Central Michigan, and Legal Services of Western Michigan. CALL offers an attorney-staffed telephone advice, brief service, pro se, and referral system serving low income and senior people throughout much of Michigan.
