The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law hosted an Alumni Reunion on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the campus in Detroit. Gathering at the event were affinity groups and the classes of 1965, 1990, and 2005. The reunion included a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Detroit Mercy Law’s clinical program with a toast and tour of the clinic building. Among those celebrating were (left to right) Alex Vernon, director of Detroit Mercy Law’s Immigration Law Clinic; Detroit Mercy Law Adj. Prof. Michael Morgan; Detroit Mercy Law Prof. Margaret Costello; Waissam Aoun; and Detroit Mercy Law Dean Phyllis Crocker.
