On Saturday, Dec. 12, the Italian American Bar Association of Michigan (IABAM) will host its 84th Annual Winter Gala at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club beginning at 6:30 p.m.
This black tie optional event features live music by Pino Marelli, a full Italian dinner and dessert menu, and drink selections. The event offers an evening of fun and comradery and includes various presentations and awards, including a scholarship award to one local student.
Recently, the committee for this event has partnered with a local charity, Friends of Foster Kids, and a portion of event proceeds will go to benefit this charity. All guests are also asked to bring an unwrapped child’s holiday gift in hopes of brightening the season for a child who is currently in the foster care system.
