The Employment Law Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association presented an “Employment Law Year in Review” on Tuesday, June 14, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills. Speaking at the seminar were Jeffrey A. Steele (left) of Macomb Community College and David A. Kotzian (right) of Gasiorek, Morgan, Greco, McCauley, and Kotzian PC. Welcoming the speakers to the seminar was Employment Law Committee Chair James Reid (center) of Maddin, Hauser, Roth, & Heller PC. “We are going to go over all the hot case law updates over the past year and give a plaintiff and defense side perspective on what the cases mean and what precedents can be used to help both plaintiff and defense attorneys in their practice on the common employment issues that arise in the workplace,” Reid said.
