The Consumer Bankruptcy Association presented “Motion Practice—Dos and Don’ts” on Thursday, February 23, at the Iroquois Club in Bloomfield Hills. The event featured U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judges (left to right) Mark A. Randon, Marci B. McIvor, and Daniel S. Opperman who discussed the best tips on drafting motions and briefs, the most (and least) persuasive arguments, and more. Attendees learned strategies to persuade the bench right from the source.
