The D. Augustus Straker Bar Association will host its 25th annual Trailblazers Dinner on Thursday, June 7 at 5 p.m. at The Community House in Birmingham.
“This year’s event honors the past, treasures the present, and shapes the future,” said a spokesman for the Straker Bar.
The 2018 honorees are Rasul M. Raheem, senior attorney at Plunkett Cooney; Martha D, Moore, auxiliary dean and professor at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School; and Khalilah V. Spencer, Inclusion, Equity and Social Responsibility partner at Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, and Cohn.
The Trailblazers Dinner was established to recognize local leaders who are making positive contributions to the law and the community. Law student scholarship winners will be announced as well.
