The Wolverine Bar Association, D. Augustus Straker Bar Association, and the Association of Black Judges of Michigan will host the 2018 Presidents Dinner on Wednesday, June 27, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Detroit Athletic Club, 241 Madison Street in Detroit.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Terry Wiley, vice president of the National Bar Association. Outgoing presidents being honored are Alex Simpson, Wolverine; Vassal Johnson, Straker; and the Judge Michael Wagner, ABJM. A cash bar and valet parking will be available.
The cost for advance tickets is $35 for dues-paid members and $40 for non-members. At the door price is $40 for dues-paid members and $45 for non-members. Register at online at strakerlaw.org.
