The Federal Bar Association (FBA), Eastern District of Michigan, will host the Wade H. McCree Jr. Award Luncheon for the Advancement of Social Justice on Friday, March 15, beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Woodward Ballroom at the Westin Book Cadillac, 1114 Washington Blvd. in Detroit.
U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow will be the guest speaker.
The Wade H. McCree, Jr. Award for the Advancement of Social Justice honors individuals or organizations who have made significant contributions to the advancement of social justice. These contributions may include advancing social justice in areas involving poverty, promoting economic or educational opportunity, or fighting discrimination involving race, gender, ethnicity, national origin, religion, or economic status.
Cost for the luncheon is $45 for FBA members and $60 for guests. Register online at www.fbamich.org.
