Annual Brunch for Bars set for April 7

The State Bar of Michigan Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee will host the fifth annual Brunch for Bars from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, at the Fort Shelby DoubleTree, 525 W. Lafayette in Detroit.

The annual Brunch for Bars is a place to network with affinity bar colleagues and discuss topics of concern to members of special purpose bars across the state. This year’s focus is building membership through inclusiveness. Every membership-based organization is experiencing the issues of competition for the limited time of professionals, generational differences in calculation of “return on investment” volunteering, and continual relevance in a rapidly changing professional environment.
