Jackson resident reappointed to Tax Tribunal
Victoria Enyart of Jackson was recently reappointed by Gov. Rick Snyder to the Michigan Tax Tribunal.
The seven-member tribunal is an administrative court that hears appeals on several categories of Michigan taxes, including local property tax issues as well as appeals on business and individual tax disputes.
"Victoria brings extensive experience to the tribunal and I am confident she will continue to serve Michigan taxpayers with fairness and integrity," said Snyder, in a statement.
Enyart has served as a tax tribunal member since 2008 and is a certified appraiser and master assessor. She will serve a four-year term that expires June 30, 2016, and her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the senate.
