Jennifer Grieco, an attorney with Altior Law, P.C., has been awarded the Evelyn Forrest Respected Advocate Award from the Women’s Bar Association and the Earl J. Cline & Sherwin Schreier Award for Excellence from the State Bar of Michigan’s Negligence Section.
The Evelyn Forrest Respected Advocate Award, named after the inaugural president of the Women’s Bar Association, is given annually to a woman in the legal profession who best advocates for clients to ensure they are properly represented.
The Earl J. Cline & Sherwin Schreier Award for Excellence recognizes a judge, justice or attorney for superb skill in the field of negligence law and dispute resolution. Grieco continues to play an integral role in ensuring the legal profession in Michigan remains strong and reputable.
Grieco began her career in the legal profession working on construction defect litigation on behalf of homeowners, tenants and businesses. From there, she turned her attention toward complex commercial litigation and specializing in business-related cases. She has worked at Altior Law since 2010.
“I am truly honored to be receiving these awards from two very distinguished organizations,” said Grieco. “I’m especially pleased to serve as a representative example of the great things that can be accomplished by women in the field of law and look forward to continuing to move our industry forward.”
Grieco is currently the president of the State Bar of Michigan and serves as a board member on the Lakeshore Legal Aid Board of Directors.
