Attorney, Mikhail “Mike” Murshak has joined Foster Swift Collins & Smith PC in the Lansing office.
Murshak is a licensed patent attorney and has extensive experience in a wide range of intellectual property matters including patent, trademark strategy and acquisition, and general IP and business counseling including preparation, prosecution, and licensing.
Working with start-up companies he assists clients with negotiating terms, reviewing agreements, and due diligence.
His background includes preparation and prosecution of patents in areas that include: medical devices, manufacturing, consumer products, computer technology, automotive, aerospace, chemical engineering, nanotechnology, and sleep technology.
Murshak also is an adjunct Professor for Trademark and Patent Law at Michigan State University College of Law and WMU-Cooley Law School.
Murshak earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University and received his JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
