Trial lawyer named adjunct professor
Chad D. Engelhardt was recently named by his alma mater, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, as an adjunct professor teaching pre-trial skills at the Ann Arbor campus.
Engelhardt will continue his practice with Stephen Goethel as a trial lawyer at Moran, Raimi, Goethel & Karnani in Ann Arbor. Engelhardt focuses his practice on the litigation of complex medical malpractice, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Engelhardt has been named one of the Top 40 under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association, one of Michigan's top medical malpractice attorneys by Detroit Business magazine, a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine, and one of Michigan's Top Young Attorneys by the New York Times. He is an active member of the American, Michigan, and Washtenaw County Associations for Justice, serving as an officer and executive board member.
Engelhardt is a 2005 graduate, magna cum laude, of Cooley. He earned both his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctorate while working full time as a law enforcement officer and raising a family.
