Law students to hold Thanksgiving food drive

The WMU-Cooley Law School Ann Arbor campus is sponsoring "Making Meals Happen," a Thanksgiving food drive for 200 needy families in Washtenaw County. "They are short on time and short on money," says Chad Engelhardt of Goethel Engelhardt, PLLC, in Ann Arbor, an adjunct professor and clinical field supervisor at Cooley's Ann Arbor campus. "The amount needed to feed each family is $50. There are families in need, laid off, injured or otherwise; and women and children who will be hungry." Checks, payable to Cooley Ann Arbor-SBA, can be mailed to Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, Attn: Nicole Edwards, 3475 Plymouth Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105; note Thanksgiving in the memo line. Food donations and other contributions are also welcome. Any donations received after November 14 will be forwarded to the Christmas holiday program.
