LaGrave named NALA president
Kelly A. LaGrave, ACP, a business and corporate paralegal with Foster Swift Collins & Smith, P.C., in Lansing, was reelected to serve as the 2015-2016 President of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). The election took place during the NALA Board of Director's meeting in Tulsa, Okla. on March 7. She will take office during NALA's annual conference in Tulsa, Okla. in July.
"I find my service to NALA both fulfilling and rewarding. I am truly inspired every day that I have an opportunity to serve. I am honored to follow in the footsteps of those visionaries who have served before me and thrilled to continue my service to NALA as its President," LaGrave said.
An accomplished paralegal, LaGrave has earned the Certified Paralegal designation, as well as Advanced Paralegal Certification in the areas of Intellectual Property, Real Estate, and Contracts Administration/Contracts Management. In addition, she has helped with the review and establishment of NALA's advanced certification program in Incorporated Business Organizations and Unincorporated Business Organizations.
