MLaw grads excel in passage rate in three state Bar exams

Among those who sat for the February bar, Michigan Law graduates posted a 100 percent passage rate in Michigan, New York, and Illinois-three of the most popular markets among Law School graduates in 2014.

Michigan Law graduates historically have performed well on bar exams across the United States and go on to work for a broad range of employers.

The 2014 class spread out to 33 states, Washington, D.C. and nine foreign countries.

National placements include private practice (57.3 percent), judicial clerkships (14.4 percent), public interest (11.2 percent), government (8.5 percent), business (7 percent), and academia (1.6 percent).

Post-graduation, 96 percent of the class was employed, and all 100 of The American Lawyer's top-100 firms count Michigan Law graduates among their ranks.
