The Washtenaw County Bar Association Public Service Committee is once again sponsoring Avalon Housing’s Gardening with Grace program, aimed at beautifying some of the Avalon properties in Ann Arbor with flower gardens. Avalon Housing provides permanent affordable and supportive rental housing for Washtenaw County’s lowest income households, with a priority for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and who have a mental or physical disability. On May 21, several WCBA members gave a helping hand; another flower planting event was set for June 5.
