Residence: Whitmore Lake.
What is your most treasured material possession? My snowboard.
Favorite local hangouts: Belle Isle, Planet Rock, and Imperial.
What's most exciting in your professional life right now? In my position with Lorandos Joshi I have the opportunity to work with experts in the field of parental alienation. As a family law practitioner for several years, some of the most difficult cases of my career have been those where parents and children have been alienated from one another. I am excited about the opportunity to bring true resolution and family reunification to cases that, without such expertise, would result in an unsatisfying resolution for all parties involved.
What are you better at than everyone else you know? I am cultivating a pretty great grilled cheese sandwich "recipe".
What do you wish someone would invent? A bubble wand to put in front of car air vents. It would blow bubbles and entertain my daughter in her car seat as I drive.
If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would that be? A judge, to learn how to make my arguments more compelling.
What's the most awe-inspiring place you've ever been? A Michigan lake on a summer afternoon.
What is your proudest moment as a lawyer? Swearing in one of my closest friends from law school.
If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? I would return to Paris and relive some of my semester spent studying abroad in college.
What do you do to relax? I enjoy working in my garden, foraging wild mushrooms, and beekeeping.
What is one thing you would like to learn to do? I am envious of people who can play guitar well.
What is something most people don't know about you? I really hate watching movies.
What is the best advice you ever received? Taking no risks is the riskiest move of all so make smart gambles when the opportunity presents itself.
If you can help it, where will you never return? Ikea on a Saturday.
