WLAM Washtenaw will hold a Judges’ Round Table event, 5 to 8 p.m., Sept. 21, at the Ann Arbor City Club, 1830 Washtenaw Ave., Ann Arbor MI 48104.
Tickets are $25 for members, and $35 for non-members.
A social mixer will start at 5 p.m., and the program will start at 6 p.m.
An appetizer buffet and cash bar (cash only) will be available.
Program will include one judge at each table with up to nine participants who will have the opportunity to engage in an informal discussion with each judge about their experiences as women judicial candidates and women judges.
Judges will remain at the tables while participants rotate to new tables every 15 minutes to allow for the opportunity to meet with each member of the judiciary.
Program will end at approximately 7:15 p.m, with an opportunity to socialize until 8 p.m.
The following judges are taking part: Hon. Carol Kuhnke, Circuit Court; Hon. Judith Levy, U.S. District Court; Hon. Ann Mattson, District Court, Retired; Hon. Darlene O’Brien, Circuit Court; and Hon. Karen Valvo, District Court.
The registration deadline is Sept. 14.
