Chamber, Willis and Machnik partnering to present Pistons Coach Steve Moreland on Sept. 21
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and Title Sponsor Willis and Machnik Financial Services are partnering to bring Pistons Coach Steve Moreland to present an inspiring and engaging "IMAGINE What's Possible" program on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at The Rando Activity Center.
This one time only motivational presentation by the Detroit Piston's Director of Development and Training Camps/Clinics Coach Steve Moreland will be a reunion of past Annual Meeting award recipients and Leadership Academy Outstanding Past Graduates as well as an opportunity for business and community leaders to "IMAGINE What's Possible" in the community, a spokesperson said.
Moreland modeled his coaching philosophy after John Wooden, the legendary UCLA Bruins coach.
Since joining the Pistons, he has shared a similar set of values: be on time; be a good listener; take pride in your work; be a good person.
"A respected motivational speaker for Michigan organizations and businesses, Moreland is a must see," the spokesperson said.
Schedule of Events
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. VIP Reception with Past Award Recipients and Keynote speaker (invite only);
6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Keynote Speaker - Coach Steve Moreland;
7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Autographs and Photographs.
Costs for past award recipients is $25 each and includes a VIP reception and the keynote presentation.
General admission tickets are $35 for Chamber members and $50 for potential members.
