U of M researchers share $3.7M in Dow Chemical grants

ANN ARBOR (AP) -- The University of Michigan says four of its projects will share $3.7 million from Dow Chemical Co. over the next five years as part of a $250 million company program to support the work of major research universities. The Ann Arbor school says the awards to professors in the colleges of engineering and pharmacy could lead to "medicines that are easier to digest, cleaner paints, and spreadsheet tools that better suit scientists' needs."
