Library presents lecture on 'Locating Missing (Living) Persons'
The Oakland County Research Library will host the "Locating Missing (Living) Persons" lecture on Tuesday, June 19, at 1:30 p.m.
James N. Jackson, president of the Calhoun County Genealogical Society, will educate attendees on methods and tips to locate living individuals in genealogy research. Jackson is a noted Michigan genealogist and received the 2006 Lucy Mary Kellogg Award from the Michigan Genealogical Council. He also has served as a past president of the Oakland County Genealogical Society and the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research.
This lecture is open to the public and there is no charge to attend, however seating is limited to 40 people. Beverages and light snacks will be provided.
The Oakland County Research Library is located at 1200 North Telegraph Road in Building 14 East, which is on the second floor of the West Wing Extension, which is located in the five-story glass building attached to the main courthouse building.
