Pure Michigan campaign highlights hunting, fishing
LANSING (AP) -- The state's Pure Michigan tourism campaign is highlighting hunting and fishing opportunities in the state with a new digital media campaign.
As part of the effort, the state says the website Outdoorhub.com will feature a Pure Michigan landing page with news, videos, and information about hunting and fishing. The campaign also includes online banner ads on outdoor enthusiast sites, including MichiganSportsman.com and OhioGameFishing.com.
The digital media campaign runs through early December. The focus will be on fishing through Oct. 22. Hunting ads will then start running until Dec. 5.
Videos also will be available on the fishing and hunting pages at the state's tourism website, which includes links to maps, associations, and hunting and fishing guides.
