Small Business Forum looks at 'Growing Your Clients' Business'
The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section's Small Business Forum will present "Growing Your Clients' Business and Yours: How to Help You and Your Clients Succeed" on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Columbia Center in Troy
Attendees will learn how their clients can find new customers--and how to find new clients--both online and through traditional networking.
Speaking at the program will be Jeff Aronoff, executive director, D:Hive; Rob Luce, program manager, MichAuto, Detroit Regional Chamber; Vince Nystrom, vice president, Pure Michigan Business Connect, MEDC; and Eric Stief, senior vice president, Auto Harvest Foundation.
Moderating the program will be Gale D. Frentz, vice president, Continuing Professional Education, MACPA; and Douglas L. Toering, Toering Law Firm PLLC.
The registration fee for this event is $25 (including light supper). Deadline for registration is Friday, Oct. 19. For information on registration, visit www.michbar.org/business/ or call 248-953-9022.
The Small Business Forum, established by the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan in 2006, specifically caters to business owners, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals who work with closely-held businesses. The Forum hosts three educational events throughout the year. Every event includes a light supper and a time to network with other business professionals. Anyone with questions about the Forum may contact Doug Toering at (248) 269-2020 or dltoering@toeringlaw.com.
