Experts to speak on federal regulations and business
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and Jackson Area Manufacturers Association have partnered to bring experts from the U.S. Chamber to Jackson so that local businesses can protect themselves and be prepared for important labor issues impacting every day operations.
Businesses are invited to hear the latest about what's happening in Washington on the labor front from Ted Phlegar, from the U.S. Chamber's Workforce Freedom Initiative from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, at Alro Steel Processing Center, 2500 Enterprise Street, Jackson.
From ambush elections to social media, and micro unions to cyber card check, there are key decisions being made that effect job creators across the nation.
"I look forward to attending Ted Phelegar's presentation," said Andy Ambs, vice president of operations at Ambs Call Center. "As our company grows our most valuable asset is the employees we grow with. We need to be engaged in the ever changing process of Federal Regulation and how it will impact the daily operations of our company."
