Two Ann Arbor attorneys selected as Michigan's Leaders in the Law 2013
Cheryl L. Chandler, an attorney and shareholder with Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge's Ann Arbor office, and Ann Arbor City Attorney Stephen Postema have been chosen for Michigan Lawyers Weekly's Leaders in the Law, Class of 2013.
The list of Leaders in the Law consists of 30 top attorneys who practice in Michigan.
A large number of nominations are submitted before the Michigan Lawyers Weekly staff selects the final 30 practitioners. Selections are based on the nominees' records of legal success, community and legal achievements, and also each nominee's passion and activity on behalf of clients and the community
Chandler defends physicians and health care entities in medical malpractice cases involving all areas of medicine. She has handled hundreds of cases, from claim filing to pretrial settlements to jury verdict and/or appeals as needed. She holds a coveted AV peer rating by Martindale-Hubbell, Inc., the highest rating offered by the organization.
An awards luncheon will be held March 21 at the Detroit Marriott in Troy.
