Appeals court judge to address PALS, Nov. 13
The Polish American Legal Society will host a general meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 13, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Polish Village Cafe, 2nd Floor, 2990 Yemens Ave. in Hamtramck. The guest speaker will by Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Michael Talbot.
Talbot was appointed to the Court of Appeals in 1998. Previously, He had been appointed by governors of Michigan to serve as a judge of the Wayne County Circuit, Detroit Recorder's, and Detroit Common Pleas courts. He also worked as an attorney in private practice. Talbot received his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and his law degree from the University of Detroit. He is currently serving as special judicial administrator for Detroit's 36th District Court.
