Forum takes a look at Court of Claims move
On Friday, Feb. 28, the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law will present a forum regarding the move of the Michigan Court of Claims from Ingham County to the State Court of Appeals.
Michigan Court of Appeals Chief Judge Michael Talbot will make a presentation on the nuts and bolts of practice in the new court, and UDM Law Dean Troy Harris will moderate panels to address the impact on tax and negligence cases and appellate practice.
The forum will begin at 2 p.m. in room 226 and conclude by 5:15 p.m. for a networking reception. The forum is complimentary.
