First, Butzel Long will host a complimentary briefing from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9. The program, "The New Competitive Edge of Mexico: Opportunities in Automotive and Energy," is designed for representatives of companies to learn more about what is happening today in Mexico and how they can benefit. Topics for discussion include: "Mexico as a Strategic Partner," "New Tax Law," and "Other Reforms and Manufacturing Trends in Mexico and the 2014 Outlook." Featured presenters include:
* James Bruno, Butzel Long attorney and shareholder.
* Juan Manuel Solana Morales, Honorable Cónsul of México in Detroit.
* Flavio Antonio Díaz Mirón Álvarez, Trade & Investment Minister of México.
* Marie Alsace Galindo, TechBa-Michigan - Legal and Other Reforms.
* Scott Sneckenberger, Plante Moran.
* Richard Roche, ROCHE International LLC.
